Shawms, slide trumpet, viele, rebec and harp herald Christmas Dufay style: this band have been performing together for the past twenty years to critical acclaim. Music from the courts of medieval Europe for the 12^th -15^th centuries include estampies and carols from England and France, lively istanpitta from Italy and familiar Christmas songs which are still sung today.
